Last week, Treetops Adventure was thrilled to once again hold its annual Hero 4 HeartKids weekend initiative, encouraging the public to book an adventure on Friday, June 14th or Saturday, June 15th, and to dress up as their favorite superhero. In addition to this, $2 from every sale went towards supporting the real heroes: the thousands of courageous young children facing congenital heart disease (CHD).

Every day, eight children are born in Australia with a heart defect, and 72,000 young Australians are currently battling CHD, a condition without a known cure that often necessitates lifelong treatments like open-heart surgeries.
All proceeds from Hero 4 HeartKids Day contribute directly to essential services for families coping with children undergoing heart surgery. These services include hospital support, a dedicated helpline, parent networking programs, and financial aid for families facing hardship.

With the generous support of our staff and customers, we successfully raised nearly $3,000 for this vital cause.
