Making a Difference, One Donation at a Time
When Skydive Wānaka customers book a jump, they have the opportunity to add a $10 donation at checkout to support native tree planting through the Te Kākano Aotearoa Trust. This contribution will directly fund the planting and maintenance of native seedlings, helping to restore local biodiversity. This initiative not only preserves the breathtaking Wānaka landscape, but also empowers our guests to play a part in preserving them.

About Our Partners
Te Kākano Aotearoa Trust is a non-profit organisation based in Wānaka. They specialise in eco-sourcing seeds from the local area and raising seedlings in their nursery. With the help of community volunteers, Te Kākano is dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship through planting initiatives. Last year alone, they facilitated the planting of over 5,300 native plants, showcasing the impact of community involvement.
Love Wānaka is a local community fund focused on raising awareness and resources for environmental conservation projects. By partnering with local businesses and organisations, Love Wānaka ensures that funds raised are channelled into initiatives such as native tree planting, habitat restoration, and biodiversity protection.
How the Donation Works
When you opt to add a $10 donation during your skydive booking, you are helping to fund essential native revegetation efforts through the Love Wānaka Community Fund. This donation is managed by Love Wānaka, which collates funds and directs them to Te Kākano Aotearoa Trust. Every contribution helps plant one native tree, making a tangible difference in our local ecosystem.
