Samantha started in 2006 working for Big Cat Green Island Reef Cruises as a Reservations Sales Agent. She then progressed to Supervisor and staff trainer, before then moving on to the Coach Coordinator position. In 2012, Samantha left to pursue a new career opportunity in the child protection industry, however returned in 2014 after realising that tourism was her passion.
When Experience Co took on Big Cat Green Island Reef Cruises in 2017, Samantha began branching out into other opportunities in different areas of the EXP umbrella, including Reservations Supervisor for Wild Bush Luxury and Operations Manager for the AU & NZ Reservations teams. Now, she works as the Group Reservations Manager for Experience Co.
When asked about her time working at Experience Co, Samantha had the following to say:
โI have been fortunate to be able to travel regularly to Sydney and recently to New Zealand for work, which has assisted me to gain valuable knowledge and experience working on many projects and roles over the years. However, I believe I have learnt the most from all the amazing people I work with daily and this is the favourite part of my job!โ
โI love the variety and fast paced environment of my current role and my favourite catchphrase is โwork smarter, NOT harder,โย so I am always looking for ways we can evolve and improve the experiences for not only our customers but our staff as well, creating an enjoyable and rewarding place to work everyday!โ
