In September 2021, Chris Walker and a number of ambassadors for the organisation, Fund My Challenge, took part in the ‘Face Your Fears’ campaign, which involved jumping out of a helicopter at our Skydive Surfers Paradise drop zone to raise funds and awareness for the domestic and family violence charity, RizeUp Australia.
RizeUp is a charity that helps families whose lives have been devastated by domestic and family violence by supporting, re-homing and helping to turnaround the lives of those affected.
The challenge aimed to encourage other people to join the campaign, RizeUp and face their own fears in the name of charity. Jumping from 10,000ft out of a helicopter is one way to face your fears!
The ambassadors, which included Ben Hannant, Lincoln Lewis, DJ Kaitlyn, Scott Fitzgerald, Daniel Carruthers and Chris Walker, leveraged their influence to raise almost $9,500 for RizeUp!
“We as a Fund My Challenge family joined with RizeUp to face our fears and raise some amazing donations for the incredible work they do helping those in need. What an experience I feel so very lucky to have done!”
– Lincoln Lewis, Fund My Challenge Ambassador
