Treetops Adventure, Australia’s foremost operator of treetop and zipline aerial experiences, will open their newest, and most northern park, in Australia – Treetops Adventure-Cape Tribulation in June, 2022.

Visitors will be able to experience a bird’s eye view of the ancient Daintree Rainforest – up to 15 metres above ground – through a fully guided two-hour Zipline Tour.

Treetops Adventure Cape Tribulation is located on the site formally known as Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours but will be completely redesigned and rebuilt to provide an entirely new visitor experience incorporating four separate ziplines varying in length between 20 – 130m, suspended bridges, cables and nets for visitors to explore at their own pace.

Treetops Adventure Group General Manager, Nicolas Dansin, said the much-anticipated zipline adventure tour will provide the perfect opportunity to showcase the World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest and National Park to travellers of all ages and abilities.

“We want to provide a premium experience for every level of fitness and age,” Mr. Dansin said. “Our tours will cater to anyone who wants to experience these incredible natural surroundings in an exciting way,” Dansin continued.

Unlike the 14 other Treetops Parks, Treetops Adventure Cape Tribulation will offer a fully guided experience.  After being harnessed up and provided with a safety briefing, guests will begin their tour with three ziplines spanning between 15 and 30m which will lead them to an 8m high enclosed viewing tower which provides 360-degree views over the rainforest.  Guests will then be given a choice of two easy treetop walks with bridges, cables and nets allowing them to enjoy the rainforest canopy.  A spectacular 130m long zipline completes the tour. Group sizes will be capped at twelve visitors with two fully trained guides per tour.

“The protection of the rainforest and of our host trees is vital to the integrity of our tours. We care not only for our customer’s safety but for the health of the rainforest,” said Mr. Dansin.

“As with all our other parks, we follow the Australian Standards when building while also adopting eco-friendly techniques for the long-term preservation of the host forest. We mount the platforms without drilling into any trees, and instead use a compression method to allow for their continual growth to minimise impact on the environment.”

Treetops Adventure Cape Tribulation tickets start from $95 for 3 to 17-year old’s and $135 for 18 years plus including a digital photo pack. Book for opening weekend and get 50% off (see website for terms and conditions).
